STORY

The "NFT Mania" is an experimental kinetic poster crafted by Gydient for the Archipel TXL class under the mentorship of Prof. Heike Grebin. It was first exhibited at HAW Hamburg's Design Department.

Sporting a bold, pixelated design in a long landscape format, the poster aims to delve into the relationship between Art, Tech, and Market. It serves as a reflection on the frenzied NFT boom since 2021. While some hail this surge in Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) as a groundbreaking revolution, others see it as merely a wave of speculative hobby.

The poster encourages viewers to ponder. Following a quiet spell in 2022 and 2023 due to the crypto market's low, and with the rising again of the crypto market in 2024, could we anticipate another upsurge in NFT interest?
